What is the difference between a UV printer and an inkjet printer?
1. The material printed is different. UV printers can print inkjet materials, but inkjet printers cannot print all UV machine materials. For example, UV printers can print 3D three-dimensional reliefs, or plates, which the inkjet printer cannot do, and can only print flat materials, such as inkjet cloth.
2. The drying method is different. The UV printer adopts LED ultraviolet light curing technology, which can be hit and dry. The inkjet printer adopts infrared drying method, which cannot be dried immediately, and needs to be placed slightly to dry.
3. Clarity is different. UV printers have higher accuracy and richer color prints.
4. Different weather resistance. UV printing patterns are more weather-resistant, waterproof and sun-proof, and will not fade for at least five years outdoors. The inkjet prints start to fade within about a year.
